Ms. Ramatoulie Sarr is now the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Finance and Administration of the Office of the Vice President. She was born in born in The Gambia on 30th August, 1977. She attended Gambia High School in Banjul before proceeding to the University of The Gambia where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies and History. She also obtained a Master of Public Sector Management from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2006.

Ms. Sarr started her career at the PMO in 2004 as a Cadet Administrative Office where she rose to the ranks of Personnel, Senior and Principal Personnel Officer. She subsequently worked at the PSC as Deputy and Acting Secretary before been posted out to other Ministries such as the Ministries of Trade, Health, Foreign Affairs, the President’s Office and the Attorney General’s Chambers and Ministry of Justice.
