The Gambia National Commission for UNESCO paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency the Vice President of The Gambia, Mohammed BS Jallow, at State House in Banjul on Wednesday, 24th April, 2024.

The delegation, led by Ms. Maimuna Sidibeh, Secretary General of NATCOM, explained the purpose of their visit: to provide a comprehensive briefing on their mandate and reaffirm their commitment to The Gambia Government.

During the meeting, Ms. Sidibeh also shared that the Director General of ICESCO in Rabat will participate in the upcoming OIC summit. Describing the encounter as fruitful, she expressed gratitude for the encouragement and support received from the VP and voiced anticipation for further collaboration.
