State House, Banjul - Lieutenant General Mbaye Cissé, the Chief of General Staff of the Senegalese Armed Forces together with his team on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency the Vice President of The Gambia, Mohammed B.S Jallow. The meeting was attended by The Gambia’s Minister of Defence, Hon. Sering Modou Njie, and Chief of Defence Staff of The Gambia Armed Forces, Major General Mamat O. Cham.
The purpose of Lieutenant General Cissé's visit was to extend respects to Vice President Jallow and convey well-wishes. Meaningful discussions were made related to the collaboration between the military forces of both nations to address common security challenges effectively.
