On Monday, 06th November, 2023, a team of dedicated medical professionals from Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India, had the privilege of meeting His Excellency, The Vice President of The Republic of The Gambia, Mohammed B.S Jallow, at his office in State House.
Accompanied by Madam Aji Fatou Joof, First Secretary at the Gambian High Commission in New Delhi, this courtesy call marked a significant step towards strengthening the country's healthcare system. The team were hosted by the Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow Foundation.
Dr. Aashish Chaudhry, the Managing Director of Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, expressed his delight at the warm welcome they received and shared the fantastic news that more than 400 patients have already benefited from their world-class healthcare services.
“This is our first visit to The Gambia and we’re very happy with the response. We pledge to come back for more extensive surgical camps,” Dr. Chaudhry promised.
