State House, Banjul – On Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, The Vice President of The Gambia, His Excellency Mohammed B.S Jallow received members of the Gambia’s National Youth Parliament (NYP). Fruitful discussions were made on vital topics like irregular migration and youth empowerment. The delegation also officially presented the 17-point resolution of the National Youth Parliament, derived from its inaugural ordinary session this year.
Hon. Omar Cham, Speaker of the NYP, expressed pleasure in meeting the Vice President. Similarly, Vice President Jallow emphasised the government's commitment to empowering the youth of The Gambia and assured that they will be actively involved in the implementation of the National Development Plan (NDP).
The Gambia Government is committed to empowering the youth of the country by putting them at the forefront of National Development.
